Our story
How a single Boston on the couch turned into AK Boston Terriers.
I met my very first Boston Terrier, Weeza, when I was eight years old. I had no idea she would become my best friend or that she’d spark a lifelong love for the breed. Not long after, my parents began a small breeding program, so I spent the next ten years growing up surrounded by Bostons — learning their quirks, their charm, and their incredible loyalty.
As an adult, I explored other breeds, but I always found my way back to Boston Terriers. That’s when JJ came into my life. She was the beginning of A‑K Boston Terriers and the foundation of everything we’ve built since.
Over the years, my human family has grown by three, and each of my children is involved in raising and loving our dogs. What started as a passion became a family hobby — a way for all of us to grow together, share responsibility, and pour love into the breed that has shaped so much of our lives.
At A‑K Boston Terriers, our dogs are raised in‑home and underfoot, surrounded by family, affection, and everyday life. It’s more than a breeding program — it’s a legacy rooted in childhood memories, family connection, and a deep devotion to the Boston Terrier.
